Researchers believe that their Scopus Author Profile is correct on its own. Regrettably, this is not always true.

• Publication missing, hence reducing the chances of citations and visibility

  6. Update and merge your profiles if required

Due to automatic creation of profiles based on publications’ metadata, author names, affiliations, citations, and co-authors, mistakes might happen and require periodic review.
